Body Waste ['bŏ-dē ] [wā-st]
Excess matter that is no longer needed by an animal body.

A complex set of glands, organs, and processes help remove waste materials from our bodies. Removing waste is just as vital a bodily function as eating, breathing, sensing, or thinking. It prevents illness, cleans our bodies from the inside out, helps keep body chemistry and temperature at normal levels, and gets rid of excess matter that our bodies do not use. Waste is not gross, it is a necessity!
