Nuclear Energy ['nü-klē-ər 'enērjə]
The energy released during nuclear fission or fusion, especially when used to generate electricity.

Nuclear power plants use uranium atoms inside a specially built reactor to generate heat. That heat produces steam which spins a turbine to generate electricity.
