Sleep [ˈslēp]
A condition of rest where a person becomes generally unaware of most things and the body regains energy.

All animals need sleep. Sleep is important because it is a time when your body rejuvenates, repairs cells, releases hormones and your brain sorts out your day. Sleep is essential to life. You can get very sick without it, but many find sleep difficult and many don't get enough. But enjoy sleep because you will spend a third of your life sleeping.
